As part of an ongoing collaboration with The Last Ape, an urban streetwear brand, I produced and directed a series of short-form video content designed for Instagram Reels and TikTok. The focus was on capturing the raw energy, attitude, and aesthetic that defines The Last Ape’s visual identity — bold, gritty, and unapologetically street.
This project involved end-to-end production: from conceptualizing each reel’s visual tone and story to shooting, editing, and tailoring the final pieces for optimal performance across platforms. Working closely with the brand, I explored creative directions that felt spontaneous yet aligned with their rebellious visual language.
Each of the four featured reels was shot in distinct locations — from moody indoor setups to candid in-store moments — using dynamic camera work, rhythmic cuts, and a strong emphasis on movement and personality. The models were encouraged to interact freely, resulting in natural, stylized poses that complemented the raw textures of the clothing line.
